Comes in a large easy-to-use teacher-friendly binder. This is a fun way to teach personal safety to young children using
the KinderVision mascot, Kindi Bear and the KinderVision video.

Little
Red School Materials (Grades 3-5) 25 pages |
Comes in a large easy-to-use teacher-friendly binder. Students use the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood
as a basis for discussing personal safety issues. Scenes from the fairy tale are matched to safety tips for
today and discussed as a class. Students are then asked to take one of the scenes from the fairy tale and
create a modern version to teach personal safety to today's kids. They are then encouraged as a class to
present their story to their parents and younger students. This reinforces the lessons and allows them to share
the information with their parents and others.

Some of the topics discussed include internet safety, home
safety, and personal safety. Students also discuss what caused the wolf to change from friendly to dangerous
(opportunity) and they look at evaluating risk.

Middle
Red Mock Trial School Materials (Grades 6-8) 30 pages |
Comes in a teacher-friendly easy-to-use binder. This is a very entertaining and creative way to discuss
personal safety issues using a mock trial of the woodcutter in the Little Red Riding Hood story. The premise of
the lesson is that things are not always what they seem. Obviously the wolf was not the predator, a man was,
and through testimony in the trial, this becomes evident. Once the wolf is vindicated, students set out to use
the wolf as a teacher of personal safety and design a campaign to raise awareness of this issue among fellow
students.

Wolf Traps: Safety Information
for Females (High School/College) 5 pages |
Beginning with questions that cause females to evaluate the risks they are willing to take, class
discussion then centers on how to evaluate what circumstances and behaviors are dangerous with regard to
their personal safety. They are then asked to identify an area they feel puts them at risk and to take
action as a group to rectify that.
Includes a teacher's guide for one 45 minute class session beginning with a risk assessment and including group
work, class discussion, and community action.

Includes two 20" by 30" full color Wolf Traps Posters containing 15 personal safety tips for females on dating,
job hunting, internet, and other areas of concern. Poster is used as the basis for class discussion and can
