Do Your Children Know What To Do If This Happens to Them?
The K.I.N.D.I. Video is a valuable tool to help you teach your children how to be safe in
these circumstances and more. Topics include public safety, internet safety, community safety, and family safety. Narrated
by a police officer who talks to parents and an eight year old girl who talks to the children, the K.I.N.D.I. video
presents information in a way that can be easily understood by small children. Using child actors and the KinderVision
mascot KindiBear to demonstrate safety techniques and illustrate circumstances to avoid, the K.I.N.D.I. video is designed
to be an ongoing resource for parents to use at home to teach their children how to be safe when not with them. The video is
available in English and Spanish and supported by law enforcement nationwide. Aimed at preventing child abductions and child
exploitation, the KinderVision video is used by schools, youth groups, and law enforcement, in addition to families. How to Obtain the K.I.N.D.I. Video K.I.N.D.I. child safety videos are given away FREE to families at KinderVision events. Each child at the event
is video recorded on the end of the KinderVision video to personalize the video and make the learning fun. State and local
police agencies and local fire departments are invited to participate with their crime prevention/safety information
programs. This is done to provide these agencies with a forum to communicate their safety information to the public and to
help children identify these public servants as their friends - friends who can be trusted to help in time of need. Kid Stuff Click here for a Kindi Bear coloring page. |
