What is the intention of the Classroom Materials?

The goal of KV Classroom Materials is to assist students in assessing risk by raising awareness with regard to personal safety. This is done through class discussion and a variety of interactive, fun activities focused on personal safety. Obviously, we cannot cover every conceivable circumstance that a predator could devise, but we can teach students to be more aware of their surroundings, to avoid situations that put them at risk, to recognize when they are at risk, and to act quickly to avoid harm.
