1. What is the intention of the Classroom Materials?The goal of the Classroom Materials is to assist students in assessing risk by raising awareness with regard to personal safety. This is done through class discussion and a variety of interactive, fun activities focused on personal safety. Obviously, we cannot cover every conceivable circumstance that a predator could devise, but we can teach students to be more aware of their surroundings, to avoid situations that put them at risk, to recognize when they are at risk, and to act quickly to avoid harm. How have the Classroom Materials made an impact?The Classroom Materials have been incorporated into the curriculum of many schools around the country both public and private, including those meeting "Protecting God’s Children" mandates. Additionally, they are used in law enforcement school programs and with youth-serving organizations. The Classroom Materials are student centered and teacher friendly and are praised as a highly effective method for educating students in K-12 on how to avoid becoming the victim of a predator. How can I retrieve it?If you have misplaced the original confirmation e-mail message that you received during registration, KinderVision can manually resend you another copy of your confirmation message. All that you need to do is provide us with the e-mail address that you registered with us for the Classroom Materials and we will automatically send you a new confirmation e-mail message.
