1. What is the intention of the Classroom Materials?

The goal of the Classroom Materials is to assist students in assessing risk by raising awareness with regard to personal safety. This is done through class discussion and a variety of interactive, fun activities focused on personal safety. Obviously, we cannot cover every conceivable circumstance that a predator could devise, but we can teach students to be more aware of their surroundings, to avoid situations that put them at risk, to recognize when they are at risk, and to act quickly to avoid harm.

2. How have the Classroom Materials made an impact?

The Classroom Materials have been incorporated into the curriculum of many schools around the country both public and private, including those meeting "Protecting God’s Children" mandates. Additionally, they are used in law enforcement school programs and with youth-serving organizations. The Classroom Materials are student centered and teacher friendly and are praised as a highly effective method for educating students in K-12 on how to avoid becoming the victim of a predator.

3. Who created the Classroom Materials?

The Classsroom Materials were created by Nancy Sebastian, Executive Director of the KinderVision Foundation and a former teacher/school guidance counselor recognized for her work with children. These materials are easily adapted to meet most state educational standards, particularly in language arts.

4. What grade levels do each of kits in the Classroom Materials target?

Each Classroom Materials kit is intended for a specific grade level ranging from:

• Kindi Kit - kindergarden to 2nd grade.
• Little Red Kit - 3rd grade to 5th grade.
• Middle Red Kit - 6th grade to 8th grade.
• Wolftraps - high school to college.

5. How am I allowed to use the Classroom Materials?

Each kit may be downloaded in its entirety or just the individual portions that are desired. However, You may download, display print and reproduce material on this site in unaltered form only (retaining this notice) for use within your registered organization.

If you contact us about a question or issue regarding the Classroom Materials, we will make sure that we respond back as quickly as possible.

7. How do I access the Classroom Materials?

In order to access the Classroom Materials, the following steps must be completed:

1. Successful completion of the registration process.
2. Successful confirmation of e-mail address given during registration process.
3. Successful login via secured login area using your registered e-mail address and provided password.

8. I've lost my confirmation e-mail message! How can I retrieve it?

If you have misplaced the original confirmation e-mail message that you received during registration, KinderVision can manually resend you another copy of your confirmation message. All that you need to do is provide us with the e-mail address that you registered with us for the Classroom Materials and we will automatically send you a new confirmation e-mail message.

9. I've lost my access information! How can I retrieve it?

If you have misplaced your access information that was automatically generated for you during registration, KinderVision can manually resend you an e-mail message containing your lost access information. All that you need to do is provide us with the e-mail address that you registered with us for the Classroom Materials and we will automatically send you an e-mail message containing your lost access information.

10. How do I change my account information with the Classroom Materials?

If you need to update your account information that you initially provided KinderVision upon registration for the Classroom Materials, you can do so from the Settings tab of the secured access area. Simply login using your registered e-mail address and password and then make the appropriate changes from the Settings tab.
